President Bola Tinubu concluded his Sallah holidays in Lagos and departed for Abuja on Sunday. Prior to his departure from the presidential wing of the Murtala Muhammed Airport, he was accompanied by Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu. Tinubu, along with Sanwo-Olu, received a salute from the Nigerian Army parade, who formed a guard of honor.

During his five-day stay in Lagos, President Tinubu paid courtesy visits to the paramount rulers of Ijebu, Egba, and Eko. These visits served as opportunities to engage with local leaders and strengthen relationships. Additionally, he hosted the President of Guinea Bissau and Chairman of the Authority of ECOWAS Heads of State and Government, Umaro Sissoco Embalo, at his Lagos residence on Saturday.
