JAMB Bans Anambra Pupil Accused of Forging UTME Result, Upholds Investigation Findings

In a significant development, the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced the imposition of a three-year ban on Mmesoma Ejikeme, an Anambra pupil accused of forging her 2023 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) result. JAMB spokesperson, Fabian Benjamin, reiterated that the board conducted thorough investigations and reached the conclusion that Ejikeme had falsified her result.

According to Benjamin, the management of JAMB has taken appropriate action in line with established procedures. Ejikeme’s 2023 UTME result has been withdrawn, and she is prohibited from sitting for any JAMB examination for the next three years.
