She also expressed her preference for a partner who resided in Nigeria, as she did not wish to relocate abroad. Although she received advances from suitors living abroad, she chose to remain in Nigeria. Interestingly, her husband could speak Hausa, a language she was fluent in as well, further strengthening their common ground.
