A family of three, Abdurrahman Abdullahi, his wife Zainab Nuhu, and their daughter Husna, lost their lives in a house fire incident in Kafanchan, Kaduna State, on Wednesday morning.
According to reports, the incident occurred in the early hours of the morning, with neighbors saying they heard Zainab shouting for help when the fire broke out in their daughter’s room, which was adjacent to their own.
Unfortunately, the door was locked, and by the time neighbors could break it down, the fire had already claimed the lives of the family.
Abdurrahman Abdullahi, who was also known as Danjummai, was a staff member of the Nigeria Railway Corporation.
Following the incident, the Jama’a Emirate Council paid a condolence visit to the family members of the deceased at their home on Jema’a Street in Kafanchan.
The cause of the fire has not yet been determined, and investigations are currently ongoing to ascertain the cause of the inferno.
