House Committee Commends JAMB for Technological Innovations and Revenue Generation

Ad-hoc Committee Visit

The Chairman of the House of Representatives Ad-hoc Committee on Ejikeme Mmesoma, Soli Sada, visited the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) headquarters and commended the Registrar, Prof. Ishaq Oloyede, for the technological innovations implemented for the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination.

Fortification Against Criminal Infiltrations

The committee also applauded JAMB for bolstering its operations to prevent criminal infiltrations during the examination process.

Revenue Generation

The committee congratulated JAMB for its significant revenue generation, contributing to the federation account and affirming the institution’s quality governance and disciplined public officers. JAMB remitted N2 billion as interim surplus for the 2023 operating year, with over N55 billion remitted to the Federal Government since the assumption of the Oloyede-led management.
