Peter Obi Reacts to Governor El-Rufai’s Nollywood Comment

The Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi, has responded to a recent statement made by the Governor of Kaduna State, Nasir El-Rufai, suggesting that he should focus on the Nollywood industry instead of running for the presidency.

During an appearance on Arise Television’s Sunday Show, Obi stated that he would prioritize the development of the Nollywood sector if elected and called on Nigerian actors to support him.

El-Rufai had previously dismissed Obi’s chances in the upcoming election and claimed that he would only receive a low percentage of votes in certain states. However, Obi expressed gratitude for El-Rufai’s comments and pledged to work hard to improve the entertainment industry, which he views as one of the key drivers for national development.
