Shell Nigeria Gas Limited (SNG) has announced the appointment of Mr. Ralph Gbobo as its new Managing Director, effective from July 1, 2023. Ralph takes over the role from Ed Ubong, who has transitioned to a new position within the Shell group. Ralph brings extensive experience in the oil and gas industry, previously serving as the Manager, Commercial and Non-Operated Venture of The Shell Petroleum Development Company of Nigeria Limited (SPDC).

As the Managing Director of SNG, Ralph will be responsible for leading the company and driving its domestic gas growth aspirations. His main objective is to unlock the potential of the domestic gas-to-energy value chain, supporting the development of the Nigerian economy.
