Extensive Arrests and Seizures: Since the commencement of ‘Operation Mop Up,’ law enforcement efforts have resulted in the arrest of 534 suspects within the first few days. This operation has also yielded substantial seizures of illicit drugs, including cocaine, heroin, methamphetamine, tramadol, codeine-based syrup, cannabis sativa, and other new psychoactive substances. The recoveries have taken place across various states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT). Notably, Lagos, Kano, Abuja, Kaduna, Rivers, Bayelsa, Adamawa, Osun, Benue, and Plateau have witnessed high arrests and seizures.
