About Kayefi

Kayefi is built around a simple idea: useful should feel useful.

The site brings together practical image tools and clear, everyday guidance for people who work with pictures online. That might mean shrinking a photo before an upload, changing an image from JPG to WebP, checking dimensions, preparing a file for a website, or figuring out why one ordinary photograph has become several megabytes.

We built Kayefi because these jobs should not require a complicated application, a user account or a long learning curve. Where a task can be handled in the browser, the goal is to make the process straightforward, quick and understandable.

Tools built for real tasks

Kayefi Image Tools is the practical side of the site. It includes tools for compressing, resizing, converting and checking images, including workflows built around common file-size limits. The aim is not to make the interface look clever. The aim is to help someone finish the job and understand what happened to the file.

We also explain the choices behind the tools. File format, image dimensions and compression quality can all change the result. A smaller file is not automatically a better file, and sometimes the right answer is to change the dimensions rather than keep pushing the quality setting.

Why the blog exists

The Kayefi blog is an extension of that same approach. We write about image formats, website performance, WordPress image preparation, uploads, mobile workflows and the small technical problems that can waste a surprising amount of time.

Some articles answer very specific questions. Others compare formats or explain a problem step by step. In both cases, the goal is to give the reader something useful before asking them to do anything else.

A note about privacy

For supported image-processing operations, Kayefi is designed to do the work in your browser rather than routinely sending the image to a Kayefi server. The exact behavior depends on the operation and the capabilities of the browser, so the tool interface should be treated as the source of the current operational details.

Like many publisher sites, Kayefi may use analytics, advertising and other third-party technologies. Our Privacy Policy explains the current setup.
