Preparing tool…

Reading and generation stay in your browser. Check the result before you share, print, or open a link.

Decode a WIFI: code and show the network name, security type, and password. Nothing is sent to a server. Anyone who can see the result can see the password.

Use it to check a card before you leave it in a guest room. Do not photograph a code you were not meant to keep.

How to use this tool

  1. Scan the Wi-Fi code.
  2. Read the network name and password.
  3. Forget the network on the test phone if this was only a check.

Practical guidance

Use it to check a card before you leave it in a guest room. Do not photograph a code you were not meant to keep.

Checks before you use the output

Join the network from a phone that has never used it. The name is case-sensitive.

Questions and answers

Will this connect me automatically?

No. It only shows what is stored in the code.

Why is the password visible?

It is stored in the symbol in plain form. That is how phone cameras join the network.

It says this is not a Wi-Fi code.

The symbol may be a normal link. Open it in the QR scanner to see the raw text.
