Preparing toolβ¦
Reading and generation stay in your browser. Check the result before you share, print, or open a link.
This tool encodes a website address directly into a QR symbol. It is useful for product pages, event registration, portfolio links, menus, support pages, and printed instructions. Enter the full URL, including https:// when available, so scanners open the destination consistently.
A static URL QR code stores the destination you enter. It does not create redirect analytics or let you change the destination later. Check the URL on a phone before printing a large batch, particularly when the address contains tracking parameters or redirects.
How to use this tool
- Copy the final URL from your browser address bar.
- Generate the code and test it on a mobile device.
- Download the image and place it beside a clear call to action.
Practical guidance
For posters and packaging, use the final public URL rather than an editing link, preview URL, or private session address. If the destination uses tracking parameters, keep them consistent with the campaign plan and ensure the landing page is usable on a small screen. A short branded URL may make the symbol less dense, but only use a redirect you control.
Checks before you use the output
Open the URL in a private or logged-out browser window to catch permission problems that your own session may hide. Check both the saved image and the destination on a second device. If a redirect is involved, confirm that it lands on the correct page and does not prompt for unexpected sign-in.
Questions and answers
Should I include https://?
Yes. Including the full secure URL reduces ambiguity and is the safest choice for a website address.
Can I edit the destination after printing?
Not with a static code. You would need to encode a URL on a redirect page you control to change where it leads later.
Why does my QR code open the wrong page?
The encoded URL may contain a typo or redirect to another destination. Inspect the full URL, test it outside your logged-in session, and regenerate the code if the address changed.
