Anambra State Approves ₦2.43 Billion Contract for Solution Fun City: A Step Towards a Smart Megacity

The Anambra State Government has given its approval for a ₦2.43 billion contract to build Solution Fun City, a leisure park in Awka. The announcement, made by the state Commissioner for Information, Mr. Paul Nwosu, highlights the government’s commitment to creating recreational spaces for the community.

Features of Solution Fun City

The leisure park, located at Park B of the Awka Township Stadium, will offer a range of amenities. This includes the installation of outdoor and indoor amusement and waterpark equipment, as well as indoor arcade games and bowling equipment. These features aim to provide residents and visitors with an exciting and engaging leisure experience.

Awarded Contracts

The contract for Lot 1, involving the supply and installation of outdoor amusement and waterpark equipment, was awarded to Parkvega Waterpark Ltd. for a sum of ₦1.91 billion. Additionally, the contract for Lot 2, which includes the supply and installation of indoor arcade games and bowling equipment, was awarded to JCN & Bros Ltd. for ₦520 million. These contracts signify the government’s commitment to working with reputable companies to ensure the successful development of Solution Fun City.
