Tribunal Set to Adopt Written Addresses

Former Vice President and presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, has made an appearance at the presidential election petition tribunal in Abuja. The tribunal is preparing to adopt the written addresses presented in the two petitions left before it.

Atiku Abubakar and Peter Obi Challenge Election Results

In their separate petitions, Atiku Abubakar and his Labour Party counterpart, Peter Obi, have approached the court to challenge the declaration of Bola Tinubu as the winner of the February 25 presidential election.

Conclusion of Hearing

The court has completed the hearing of both Atiku and Obi’s petitions on July 5, paving the way for further legal proceedings in the case.
