Successful rescue operation: Security operatives, in collaboration with a local vigilance group, have successfully rescued three additional victims of the recent kidnapping incident on the Lokoja-Abuja highway. Among the rescued victims is a pregnant woman, bringing the total number of rescued individuals to 13. This commendable display of collaboration between security forces and the local vigilante demonstrates the ongoing efforts to combat criminal activities in Kogi and the North Central region.

 

Commitment to citizen safety: The Chairman of Kogi/Koto Local Government Area, Mr. Dauda Aliyu, expressed his appreciation for the joint efforts of the security operatives and emphasized that the administration of Governor Yahaya Bello is fully committed to ensuring the safety and well-being of all citizens. The continuous rooting out of criminals from every corner of the state is seen as a vital step toward establishing peace, growth, and development.
