In an interview with BBC Hausa, the former Governor of Kano, Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, addressed speculations about seeking an appointment under the administration of President Bola Tinubu, who was inaugurated yesterday.

Ganduje’s Stance on Appointment: Abdullahi Umar Ganduje clarified that he is not actively pursuing any appointment in President Tinubu’s administration. However, he expressed openness to accepting an appointment if offered.

Well Wishes for President Tinubu: Despite not seeking a position, Ganduje extended his best wishes to President Tinubu, emphasizing the belief that Tinubu’s leadership will reflect the successes he achieved during his tenure as governor of Lagos State.
