Rumored Specifications for HTC U23 Pro 5G
The HTC U23 Pro 5G is expected to come equipped with a Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 SoC processor, 8GB of RAM, and 256GB of storage. The AMOLED display will have a 120Hz refresh rate, but the screen size has yet to be leaked. The device will have a 3.5mm earphone jack on the top of the phone and a 4600mAh battery.
Camera and Other Features
The U23 Pro 5G will feature a primary camera with a 108MP sensor, which is a significant upgrade from the HTC U20 5G’s 64MP sensor. Android 13 will be pre-installed on the device, and three versions of the HTC U23 Pro 5G with model numbers 2QC9100, 2QC9200, and 2QCB100 have been spotted. However, despite the impressive camera, the rumored specs appear to position the U23 Pro 5G as a mid-range handset.
HTC’s Attempt at a Comeback
The HTC U23 Pro 5G is the company’s latest attempt at a comeback in the smartphone industry. The U23 Pro 5G will be the first U series phone to launch since the HTC U20 5G in 2020, and the first “flagship” device since the HTC U12+ in 2018. With the U23 Pro 5G, HTC is hoping to regain its former status as a leader in the smartphone market.
