Nigerian Navy Celebrates President Buhari’s Eight-Year Administration with Presidential Fleet Review

President Buhari’s Administration Procures 20 Capital Ships: The Nigerian Navy (NN) announced that a total of 20 capital ships were acquired during President Muhammadu Buhari’s eight-year administration. Rear Adm. Saidu Garba, the Chief of Policy and Plans at Naval Headquarters, highlighted that these ships include Offshore Patrol Vessels, Landing Ship Transport, Hydrographic Survey Vessels, Seaward Defence Boats, Helicopters, over 300 Inshore Patrol Vessels, and Assault crafts.

Presidential Fleet Review to Commemorate Buhari’s Contributions: The Navy is preparing to hold a Presidential Fleet Review (PFR) with the theme “Fleet Readiness for National Prosperity” from May 19 to May 22 in Lagos. The event aims to honor President Buhari for his significant contributions to the development of the Nigerian Navy. The PFR serves as an opportunity for the President to evaluate the Navy’s readiness in maritime security, safety, and defense, and to showcase the state’s loyalty and allegiance.
