Nigerian Singer Chidinma Reveals Reasons for Quitting Secular Music

Chidinmma Ekile, a well-known Nigerian singer, has recently shared the reasons behind her decision to leave secular music and return to gospel music in 2021. The singer made the announcement in a video posted on her YouTube page on Wednesday, April 3rd.

As the winner of Project Fame in 2010, Chidinmma achieved great success in the secular music industry. However, despite her accomplishments, she felt unfulfilled and empty.

The “Kedike” singer explained that her emptiness led her to reconnect with her faith and turn back to gospel music. She stated, “I was looking for my fulfillment, but I didn’t find it until I reconnected with my source.”

Chidinmma’s decision to switch back to gospel music has been met with praise and support from her fans and the music community in Nigeria. The singer continues to pursue her passion for music and inspire others through her work.
