The Osun State Police Command has apprehended a group of nine suspects, including twins Taiwo and Kehinde Adeleke, for various criminal offenses across the state. The arrests were made in different parts of the state, and the suspects are accused of crimes such as cultism, murder, and robbery.

- The twins and four other suspects were arrested in Esa Oke, after the killing of Abiodun Apalara during a rival cult clash.
- Investigations revealed that the victim was a member of the Alora Confraternity, while his assailants were armed hoodlums suspected to be members of Black Axe Confraternity led by Ibrahim Qudus.
- The remaining suspects, who are members of a syndicate that specializes in stealing motorcycles, were also apprehended by the police in Osogbo.
Speaking on the arrests, the Osun State Police Public Relations Officer, Yemisi Opalola, said that investigations are ongoing, and the suspects will be charged to court after the completion of the investigation. She urged members of the public to continue to provide information to the police to help combat crime in the state.
