President Tinubu submitted the ministerial list to the Senate just two days before the constitutional deadline set by the Ninth Assembly for the unveiling of cabinet members.

Constitutional Requirements

The 1999 constitution, as amended by the Ninth Senate, stipulates a 60-day deadline for the President to nominate cabinet members, with a requirement to appoint at least one minister from each of the 36 states and include a minimum of ten percent women in the appointments.
