Professor Abu Kasim Adamu shared details about the graduating class, stating that an impressive total of 6,154 students will be receiving their degrees on the upcoming Convocation day. Among them, 37 students will proudly graduate with first-class honors, an outstanding achievement. Additionally, 954 students will be presented with second-class upper certificates, and 3,283 will receive second-class lower division honors. However, a significant number of 1,538 students will be graduating with a 3rd class degree, while 17 others will be awarded a Pass.
The Vice-Chancellor clarified that the Convocation ceremony encompasses the 2019/2020 and 2020/2021 graduating classes. Out of the 6,154 students, a majority of 5,719 will be receiving undergraduate degrees, while 435 students have successfully completed the requirements for Post Graduate Diploma (PGD), Masters degrees, and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) programs.
