Northerners Pledge Support for Tinubu and Shettima for a Better Nigeria

Katsina State residents, including women and physically challenged individuals, have voiced their commitment to vote for the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu, and his running mate, Senator Kashim Shettima, in the upcoming election. Their goal is to secure a safer, stronger, and improved Nigeria and maintain peace and harmony among its citizens.

According to the Coordinator of the Coalition of Katsina Groups for National Unity and Integration, Comrade Hamza Umar, leading the country is not just about brute strength but using one’s intellect to drive positive change. He highlighted Tinubu’s significant role in the democratic process from 1999 to the 2015 elections, where he supported President Muhammadu Buhari.

Comrade Hamza believes it’s time for residents of Katsina and northerners, in general, to support Tinubu in addressing Nigeria’s challenges. He and his team are working with like-minded groups across the Daura, Funtua, and Katsina senatorial districts to build support for Tinubu.

Comrade Hamza emphasizes that the northern region spent eight years with the current president, and now is the time for northerners to support a southern candidate, particularly Tinubu, to become the next president of Nigeria. He believes Tinubu, known as the “father of democracy” in Nigeria, is the strongest and most qualified candidate, with the capacity and manifesto to lead the country towards a brighter future.

Tinubu, according to Comrade Hamza, has made sacrifices for democracy and has promised better education for underprivileged children. He believes that since Tinubu played a crucial role in ensuring that Buhari became president, it’s time to repay the favour and support Tinubu in his presidential bid.

With women constituting 60% of the population, Comrade Hamza and his team are engaging more women in their efforts to show hospitality to Tinubu. They believe in the principle of repaying good with good and believe Tinubu is the right choice for a better Nigeria.
